Simulation of solenoidal magnetic HF inductance with genetic algorithm

Abstract This paper will discuss numerical simulation and numerical optimization of a GHz-inductor. At this point the discussion is restricted to planar solenoid-like systems with a magnetic core in thin film technology. Some limiting physical phenomenon are disputed.
