Manganese spin excitations in disordered Fe1-xMnxCl2 by microwave absorption at high frequencies

1980
The manganese spin excitations in the system Fe1-xMnxCl2 have been investigated by microwave absorption techniques. Spectra obtained at low Mn concentration (x=0.005) enable the authors to deduce the effective spin-Hamiltonian parameters of the Mn2+ impurity and in particular the dominant exchange coupling constants between Fe-Mn spins. At higher Mn concentration (xanisotropy energy.
