Recording equipment of the ''SUMMA'' system for magnetostriction spark chambers

The multichannel time-digit conversion modules of the ''Summa'' system are described which have been developed for acquisition of information from spark wire chambers with magnetostriction delay lines. The system of electronic circuitry consisting of these modules has 320 channels and is designed for operation in the ''Sigma'' spectrometer on the 70-GeV accelerator of the Institute of High-Energy Physics. The conversion of time to a digital code is carried out at a cycling frequency of 10 MHz. Memorization of information on the spark coordinates is accomplished in 13-digit registers based on integrated memory matrices.
