Synchronization method and distributed protocol translation system

The invention provides a synchronization method and a distributed protocol translation system. The synchronization method includes: receiving a synchronous control signal; according to control of the synchronous control signal, allowing a distributed gateway to acquire IPv6 (internet protocol version 6) prefixes and IPv4 server addresses allocated by other distributed gateways so as to synchronize data of the distributed protocol translation system. For communication between distributed protocol translation devices, the IPv6 prefixes and server addresses of the distributed gateway devices can be synchronized, and good implementability is ensured through the use with network evolution gradual deployment of IPv6.
