Heterosis for yield and yield attributes in Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.

A study conducted on fifteen hybrids derived from six tomato varieties showed significant positive heterosis for yield and other yield attributes such as plant height, number of branches per plant, single fruit weight, fruit size, number of fruits per plant and fruit yield per plant.
