Vehicular seat equipped with side airbag device

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize deploying direction in a side airbag capable of restraining at least from a belly part to a shoulder part of an occupant.SOLUTION: In a vehicular seat 10, a side airbag 36 of a side airbag device 30 passes through a vertical slit portion 64A of a seat back pad 18 during expansion/deploying, thereby breaking a burst line portion 34 of a seat back skin 20. The vertical slit portion 64A positions an upper end 64A1 on a seat back rear side with respect to a lower end 64A2. Therefore, in the side airbag 36, a part passing through the upper end 64A1 side is expanded/deployed from the seat back rear side compared with a part passing through the lower end 64A2 side. Consequently, in the side airbag 36, difference in deploying directions in a plane view, in the part passing through the upper end 64A1 side and expanding/deploying to a side part of a shoulder portion, and in the part passing through the lower end 64A2 side and expanding/deploying to side parts of a chest portion and a belly portion, can be decreased. Therefore, adjustment in the deploying direction of the side airbag 36 is facilitated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
