Cylindrical shell straight finned automotive exhaust thermoelectric generation device

2013
The present invention discloses a cylindrical shell straight finned automotive exhaust thermoelectric generator, wherein two identical semi-cylindrical shell structure on the mating exhaust pipe, and by fastening bolts and soldering to be fixed; heat transfer fins by reserving in the upper half of the cylindrical shell is mounted above the fitting groove, and close contact with a number of fins on both sides of the thermoelectric power generation module; a group of thermoelectric power generation module for each side of the rectangular section of fins arranged in a separate thin-walled the cooling duct, and with fastening means mounted at both ends by the supporting disc; insulating gasket installed at different locations of the support disc in order to reduce the impact of the cooling passage of the coolant temperature. The cylindrical shell straight finned automotive exhaust thermoelectric power generating device having a simple and compact structure, high reliability, good thermal effects, etc., with respect to the conventional exhaust pipe thermoelectric generator, without changing the structure of the exhaust pipe, the discharge will not affect gas back pressure, suitable for large-scale popularization and application.
