Submerged arc welding process for E36 oceaneering steel with thickness being 80mm

2012
The invention relates to a submerged arc welding process for E36 oceaneering steel with thickness being 80mm and with excellent welding joint obdurability. A welding material matched with the oceaneering steel plate E36 with excellent obdurability is adopted, the lower yield strength ReL of the parent metal is 360-390MPa, the tensile strength Rm is 530-560MPa, the extensibility A is 30-45%, and the impact energy Akv at minus 40 DEG C is larger than 200J; a symmetrical K-shape groove is adopted as the submerged arc welding groove. The process comprises the following steps of: preheating at 80 DEG C before welding, and processing a submerged arc welding agent at 150 DEG C for 2 hours; and adopting multilayer multitrack submerged arc welding for combined steel plate butt joints with the thickness of 80mm+80mm, at the welding seam interlayer temperature of 80-200 DEG C. According to the invention, the welding joints have excellent comprehensive mechanical property, and the submerged arc welding process is good in practicability and is suitable for popularization of large ocean structures and ship welding.
