Status of the atmospheric CO2 reconstruction from ice cores analyses

This note presents the development of the studies on past atmospheric CO 2 variation based on icc-core analyses. Its aim is also to give the main references of these studies from the time of the discovery of the glacial-interglacial CO 2 change in 1980 to the time of the Vth International CO 2 Conference of Cairns in 1997.
