The present invention relates to a method for producing components, especially components of turbomachines, such as aircraft engines, wherein for producing the component (1) at least partially a generative method is used, wherein at least one surface region (3) of the part of the component generative product (1 ) is deposited by vapor phase deposition is provided with a smoothing layer (2).
