The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a light-transmissive transparent screen which has an excellent see-through characteristic for a scene on the far side of a transparent screen as viewed from a viewer when no image light is projected from a projector, and which has an excellent visibility for an image displayed on the transparent screen as viewed from the viewer when the image light is projected from the projector; and an image displaying system and an image displaying method that utilize the light-transmissive transparent screen. A light-transmissive transparent screen (1) includes a first surface (A), a second surface (B) opposite to the first surface, and a light scattering layer (34) that contains a transparent resin (32) and a light scattering material (33). The light scattering layer (34) further contains a light absorbing material, has a haze of 3-30%, total light transmittance of 15-95%, and a diffusion reflection rate of 0.1-2.4%.
