The composition range of amorphous Fe-Al-Nd alloys

A method,which predicted the composition range of amorphous ternary alloy by comparison of the Gibbs free energies between amorphous state and solid solution state,was used to determine the composition range of amorphous for Fe-Al-Nd ternary alloys.The theoretical results are in good agreement with the available experimental results.
