Study on the Reg iona l Land Surface Hea t Fluxes over Heterogeneous Landscape of the T ibetan Pla teau Area

2006
For studying on the regional land surface heat fluxes over inhomogeneous landscape of the Tibetan Plateau area, the utilization of satellite remote sensing is indispensable. In this study, methods based on NOAA214 AVHRR and Landsat TM are introduced and tested for deriving the regional land surface variables, vegetation variables and surface heat fluxes over inhomogeneous landscapes of the GAME / Tibet ( GEW EX ( Global Energy and W ater cycle Experiment) A sian Monsoon Experiment on the Tibetan Plateau) area and the CAMP / Tibet ( CEOP ( Coordinated Enhanced Observing Period) A sia2 Australia Monsoon Project ( CAMP) on the Tibetan Plateau) area. D ifficulties on the determ ination of regional land surface heat fluxes over heterogeneous landscape of the Tibetan Plateau by using the methods are introduced and the solving way to the difficulties is also p roposed in this paper.
