The influence of mechanical strains on the surface waves in dielectric waveguides

Summary form only given. Dielectric waveguides controlled by free electrons are considered. The surface waves in such waveguides are produced due to the forces of the surface strain and the electric field. The dispersion equation for such waves is proposed.
