Observation of the improved emulsification ultrasound surgery in the treatment of complicated senile cataract

2013
Objective To investigate the clinical effect for the improved emulsification ultrasound surgery in the treatment of complecated senile cataract.Method 120 cases of elderly patients with complicated cataract were chosen. They were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group of 57 cases, and 63 cases in the control group, and making it comparable. The control group was treated with the conventional emulsification ultrasound surgery for treatment. The observation group was treated with the improved emulsification ultrasound surgery for treatment. The visual acuity for the two groups after surgery was compared. Results Postoperative 3 days, there was 7.94% and 92.06% of the observation group patients achieved normal vision and effective treatment,61.40% and 80.70% in the control group, the vision in the observation group was significantly better than the control group.7days after surgery, the patients in the observation group all achieved effective treatment,22.22% of the patients achieved normal vision, the control group therapy and achieve normal vision were 87.72% and 8.77%.The observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group.30 days after surgery, the treatment was effective for the two groups of patients, but the observation group patients achieved normal vision by 38.10%,significantly more than the control group, the proportion of 29.82%.The above comparison between the two groups was statistically significance(P0.05).Conclusion For elderly patients with complicated cataract implement improved emulsion ultrasound surgery compared to treatment with conventional emulsion ultrasound surgery has a better therapeutic effect, and it can obtain a earlier and better vision.
