Germinal tumours of the central nervous system in adult patients

Germ cell tumours of the central nervous system (GCT-CNS) in the adult population are very uncommon. Furthermore, controversy remains concerning the treatment of intracranial GCTs, due largely to the complexity and rarity of these tumours, added to the lack of prospective randomized trials, involving this specific group of adult patients with this pathology, as in almost all rare cancers.
