Reset function of a regenerative braking system, and adaptive calibration for hybrid and electric vehicles

2010
In a vehicle that is designed for a regenerative and non-regenerative braking, only the regenerative braking is performed on predetermined wheels in response to a braking demand, when the driver turns the vehicle at a first rate (braking is performed in a curve, an appropriate amount of a Nichtantriebsrad-foot braking / service brake is applied to maintain the vehicle stability. The appropriate degree to which the travel braking is applied is determined by the degree to which the vehicle yaws, by the input signal from the steering wheel and on the vehicle speed by using a conversion table. With increasing brake demand a vehicle is / service brake first to all wheels afford a regenerative braking, and then wheels that provide regenerative braking, added.
