The effectiveness of the operation of plant mechanization laboratories

To solve the problems of mechanization of metallurgical production 50 plants of the industry have created and are successfully operating Plant Laboratories for Mechanization and Automation while seven function independently, including those at the Magnitogorsk and Nizhnii Togil Combines and at the Dzerzhinsk, Elektrostal ~ , and Dneprospetsstal' Plants. The greatest number of Plant Laboratories for Mechanization have been organized in the steel plants of the Ukraine. The total number of personnel in Plant Laboratories for Mechanization and Automation in the plants of the industry is about 6000, including 2500 engineering and technical workers.
