Plant alarm display system

PURPOSE:To separate the representation of the abnormal state of a machine related to safety so as to recognize clearly abnormality by evaluating the lighting condition of the detection signal of the abnormality of a plant by the control logic of an alarm from an alarm evaluation knowledge case, and distinguishing the abnormality related to the safety of the plant from functional abnormality. CONSTITUTION:When a signal from a process signal detector 2a, 2b,...2n to detect the state of the plant exceeds a threshold set beforehand, a limit switch 3a, 3b,...3n issues the detection signal. An alarm lighting evaluating device means 6 executes the control logic evaluation of the alarm of the detection signal on the basis of information from the alarm evaluation knowledge base 5. An alarm display means 8 lights and displays the alarm by a display color corresponding to the flickering state of the alarm and the attribute of the alarm on the basis of the information of an alarm display knowledge base 7 in which the attribute of the alarm to be used for determining the display color at the time the lighting of the alarm is stored and the evaluated result of the alarm lighting evaluating device means 6. Thus the functional abnormality and the abnormality concerning physical security are discriminated.
