BATI ANADOLU BOUGUER ANOMALİLERİNİN İKİ BOYUTLU ALÇAK GEÇİŞLİ REKURSİV FİLTRELER (IIR) KULLANILARAK FİLTRELENMESİ VE YERKABUĞU KALINLIK DAĞILIMININ İNCELENMESİ FILTRATION OF WEST ANATOLIAN BOUGUER ANOMALIES BY USE OF TWO DIMENSIONAL LOW-PASS RECURSIVE FILTERS (IIR) AND INVESTIGATION OF THE THICKNESS DISTRIBUTION OF THE CRUST

2004
One and two dimensional low-pass recursive filters (IIR) were used to prepare West Anatolian Bouguer gravity maps for interpretation. Talwani method was applied to the two profiles obtained from the regional Bouguer gravitiy anomaly map, and West Anatolian geometry of the crustal thickness has been modelled. West Anatolian crustal thickness starts at 30 kms in the north at the Black sea coast and increases to 35-40 kms at the Lake District (Isparta-Turkey). The thickness decreases to 32 kms at the Mediterranean coast. In the West-East direction the crust starts with 32 kms at the Aegean coast and increases to 40 kms towards central regions.
