Queratoprótesis de Boston, 9 meses de seguimiento Boston Keratoprosthesis, 9 months follow-up

Clinical case: 31-year-old male patient with Down syndrome, high myopia, bilateral keratoconus, and with previous loss of right eye due to perforation and three previous keratoplasties with refractory grafts failure. The patient develops risk of corneal thinning without improvement after amniotic membrane transplantation (TMA). Visual acuity: bulks. Boston Keratoprosthesis type 1 implant is performed (B-KPro) with good results. After surgery the patient develops a corneal ulcer that improves with TMA and tarsorraphy.
