A Non-Cooperative Power Control Game Algorithm Based on Fairness

2020
With the rapid growth of wireless terminal access demand, the spectrum resources are becoming more and more scarce. However, the spectrum utilization is at a low level, using cognitive radio (CR) to improve spectrum utilization is considered to be a good solution. Power control is widely used in spectrum sharing of cognitive radio, which is one of the key technologies of cognitive radio. This paper aims to improve the fairness of the system on the premise of guaranteeing the quality of service (QoS) of primary users (PUs) and secondary users (SUs). Based on the non-cooperative game model with pricing function, a new power control algorithm based on fairness is proposed. The pricing function is improved so that the algorithm can consider the channel conditions of different users. In this paper, it is proved that the algorithm converges to a unique point and exists a Nash equilibrium solution. Through numerical simulation, it is proved that the algorithm can effectively reduce the transmission power by sacrificing part of signal to interference plus noise (SINR) under the premise of ensuring QoS, and the algorithm has good fairness.
