The invention discloses a magnetic suspension element for a gyroscope inertial instrument output shaft centering device, and belongs to the field of small and special electric machines. The magnetic suspension element comprises a radial magnetic suspension and an axial magnetic suspension, wherein the radial magnetic suspension comprises a radial stator magnetic core, a radial stator winding and a radial rotor magnetic ring; the axial magnetic suspension comprises an axial stator magnetic core, an axial stator winding and an axial rotor magnetic sheet; the radial magnetic suspension made of a magnetic material adopts a soft magnetic alloy band material, and the axial magnetic suspension adopts a soft magnetic ferrite material formed by a hot isostatic pressing technology. According to the magnetic suspension element, by different excitation, the actual working position of the instrument can be accurately judged, and acting force can be applied to a floater assembly, so that the position of the floater assembly can be precisely controlled. The magnetic suspension element can be applied to a gyroscope instrument; the functions of a displacement sensor and a force controller are combined, so that the space and the weight are reduced, and the electrical precision and the reliability are improved.
