The performance of Li-oxygen button cell using nano-NiO as catalyst

Catalyst nano-NiO was doped into porous carbon based oxygen electrode to assemble CR2032 type Li-oxygen button experimental cell,then galvanostatic charge-discharge and AC impedance tests were taken.Catalyst nano-NiO could improve the electrochemical performance of the cell.The initial specific discharge capacity of the cell was 1 258.4 mAh/g at the current density of 0.1 mA/cm2,the discharge voltage platform stabilized around 2.7 V and charge voltage platform was 4.2 V.
