PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input operation detection device capable of reducing a price without lowering detection accuracy.SOLUTION: An input operation detection device includes two ranging units (13 and 14), a processing unit, and the like. A projection image is divided into two, an image R and an image L by a virtual line passing through a center of the projection image and being parallel to a Z axis. The ranging unit 13 photographs a part of the image R, while the ranging unit 14 photographs a part of the image L. In both of the Z-axial direction and an X-axial direction, each ranging unit is so set that an arrangement position of the ranging unit and a position where an optical axis of the ranging unit crosses with the projection surface are located at a same side with respect to a center of the corresponding image. The processing unit acquires input operation information represented by input operation means on the basis of a depth map from the ranging unit 13 and a depth map from the ranging unit 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
