Study on antioxidant effect of natural antioxidants on sunflower seed oil

The antioxidant effect of seven natural antioxidants(tocopherol,ascorbic acid,soybean phospholipids,β-carotene,tea polyphends,gallic acid and rosemary extracts)on sunflower seed oil were studied.Results showed that seven natural antioxidants exhibited different antioxidative activities in the oil,the top three of them were tea polyphends,gallic acid and rosemary extracts;the optimum antioxidantive effect of the compound antioxidants of gallic acid and rosemary extracts was obtained with the mass ratio of 4∶1 and the dosage of 0.02%.
