Lingo-cultural type of a rocker found in anecdotes is described. An anecdote is created by means of playing up definite characteristics of the type which it is devoted to. It is the anecdote that underlines the most characteristic features of the lingo-cultural type. One of the brightest features of a rocker is his/her appearance – it is involved into language game as often as his/her addiction to marijuana and alcohol. A rocker is often described as a dull-witted, stupid person (more often it is bass player or drummer). Sometimes it is underlined that a rocker is not an average and ordinary person but an extraordinary person and his/her reactions are also unusual. A rocker in Russian anecdotes has two enemies: militia and pop music.
