The utility model discloses a mixed magnetic material fault-tolerant permanent magnet vernier motor. The motor comprises an outer rotor and an inner stator which are coaxial, the inner stator comprises a stator iron core and a stator winding, the outer rotor comprises a Halbach permanent magnet array of an internal magnetic field and a rotor iron core, and the Halbach permanent magnet array is bonded onto the inner surface of the rotor iron core and is composed of radially-magnetized neodymium iron boron permanent magnet materials and tangentially-magnetized ferrite permanent magnet materials which are arranged in an alternate manner. Through the abovementioned modifications, leakage magnetic flux between adjacent N-pole and S-pole permanent magnets is reduced, the use rate of rare earth permanent magnetic materials is raised; and with utilization of the ferrite permanent magnet materials, the use level of the rare earth permanent magnetic materials is reduced, and the manufacturing cost of the motor is lowered.
