Polysaccharide fraction originating in persimmon leaf with immunostimulating activation and antitumor activation and method for manufacturing same

2013
The present invention relates to a polysaccharide fraction originating in persimmon leaf with immunostimulating activation and antitumor activation and method for manufacturing the same, and more specifically to a polysaccharide fraction consisting of 60 to 80% by weight of neutral sugar, 18 to 39% by weight of uronic acid, and 0.5 to 10% by weight of KD0 (3-deoxy-D-manno-2-octulosonic acid) analog with regard to the total amount of the polysaccharide fraction, and a method for manufacturing the same, and the use thereof. The polysaccharide fraction originating in persimmon leaf according to the present invention expedites production of interleukin-6, 12 and TNF-[alpha] so as to enhance immunologic function, has no apparent toxicity for macrophage, enhances the activity of a natural killer cell, and inhibits the metastasis of a cancer cell, thus being effective in manufacturing a food composition for enhancing the immunologic function or alleviating a cancer, a pharmacological composition for preventing or treating a disease due to degraded immunologic function, and a pharmacological composition for preventing or treating a cancer.
