Effects of climate change on marine ecosystems
2008
CR SPECIAL 18 contains selected papers from Inter-Research Symposium No. 2, held in conjunction with the 42nd European Marine Biology Symposium (EMBS) from August 27 to 31, 2007, in Kiel, Germany. Contributions deal with effects of rising temperatures, and increasing CO2 and solar and UV radiation levels, on the ecology of pelagic and coastal ecosystems, as well as on the physiology of algae, invertebrates and fishes. CR SPECIAL 18 thus provides a cross section of studies on climate change as a driver of regime shifts in marine ecosystems.
