Tuning of Magnetic Properties of Magnetic Microwires

Techniques for fine tuning the magnetic properties of glass-covered amorphous microwires are discussed. They include selection of nominal components and geometric proportions, conditions for thermal treatment, and application of mechanical stress and crossed magnetic fields.
