Analysis of Distributions and Temporal Variations of Wind Wave in the Shengsi Area

In this paper,the wind wave distribution forms in the Shengsi area are discussed by analyzing the observed wave data in the area,and the TOPEX satellite altimeter data from December 1992 to August 2002 are used to obtain the temporal variations in significant wave height in the Shengsi area,which provides scientific basis for the mitigation and prevention of marine calamities and the engineering design.
