Viscosities, densities and excess properties of binary mixtures of di-(2-ethyl hexyl) phosphoric acid (DEHPA) with benzene, toluene and ortho-xylene
2001
Abstract Viscosities and densities of binary liquid mixtures of di-(2-ethyl hexyl) phosphoric acid (DEHPA) with benzene, toluene and o-xylene have been determined at 30, 35, 40 and 45 °C. The mixture viscosity, η m is fitted to a Redlich-Kister-type equation. The excess molar volume, apparent viscosity and the excess Gibbs energy of activation of flow have been calculated from the experimental data and are presented as functions of composition. The calculated excess quantities have been discussed in terms of the nature of binary interactions.
