Coupled-channel description of rotational and vibrational states in 20Ne and 22Ne

Coupled-channels calculations are presented for the scattering of 33.4 MeV 3H and 3He from 20Ne and 22Ne, coupling six states in 20Ne up to 5.79 MeV and five states in 22Ne up to 5.91 MeV. The power of the coupled-channels method to determine spin, parity and band assignment of the vibrational states is demonstrated.
