New fluoro-containing polyimides based on 2,2-bis[4-(3-amino-5-trifluoromethylpenoxy)phennyl]propane

New trifluoromethyl-containing polyimides combining good solubility in organic solvents with a large gap between the softening and degradation temperatures were synthesized on the basis of new fluoro-containing diamine 2,2-bis[4-(3-amino-5-trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]propane.
