: Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis (CIPA) is an extremely rare autosomal recessive disorder with only several hundred cases reported worldwide. CIPA results in a number of rare symptoms, including anhidrosis and recurring skin infections, oftentimes caused by Staphylococci spp. (1, 2).
