ANALYSIS ON COMBINING ABILITY AND HETEROSIS OF CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT IN CHINESE PUMPKIN

To study the heterosis of chlorophyll content in Chinese pumpkin,this experiment randomly selected nine pumpkin inbred lines and their fourteen hybrids as materials,used the acetone immersion method to extract chlorophyll.The analysis of variance of chlorophyll content in these pumpkins and the general combining ability and the special combining ability were carried out,the F1 heterosis was also predicted.The result indicated that the chlorophyll content of pumpkin inbred lines is obvious difference,the pumpkin inbred lines 467-1,112-2,042-1 has the high general combining ability,but the cross combination 360-3×042-1 has the high special combining ability and obvious heterosis.
