On the Historical Experiences of the Three-year Guerrilla War in Southern Areas

The three-year guerrilla war in southern areas experienced an extremely arduous and intricate process,having accumulated enriched historical experiences.These experiences can be summed up as follows: being determined to execute strategic transformation at the historical turning point;carrying out flexible strategy and tactics in the counter-encirclement campaigns;closely relying on the people,and combining armed struggle with non-armed people's struggle and construction of guerrilla bases;using artful strategy of struggle,striving for the majority and opposing the minority;and holding up the banner of the Communist Party,and carrying forward the core leading role of the party organizations.Among these experiences,persisting in the leadership of the party is the most important.
