Analysis and simulation on error propagation in inertial horizontal coordinate system of space tracking ship

Data errors of shipborne radar in inertial horizontal coordinate system are influenced by several aspects, such as measuring errors of equipment, ship-swaying and hull deformation(collectively called ship attitude). In this paper, based on the process of tracking ship's data managing, error propagation model of ship attitude errors and equipment's measuring errors from telemetering coordinate system to inertial horizontal coordinate system is built up. Numerical simulation results indicate that ship's position errors can not be ignored, and the influence between distance measure and angle measure is not very strong. The relationship between azimuth error and elevation error are rather complicated, and the influence of elevation error on azimuth error is stronger than that of azimuth error on elevation error.
