The device has an alternator (AI) comprising a stator that is provided with stator windings (SB) for producing alternating voltages. A rotor is provided with a field coil (5). A tension rectification bridge (EBr) is contained in an electronic case (EB) that is remotely assembled from the alternator and electrically connected to the alternator through electrical connection units (Cph, Cex). The bridge comprises a diode with a power transistor that is arranged in a rectifier. The electrical connection unit connects the bridge to the windings.
