A measurement and location method for image-based virtual space is proposed in order to enhance the intuition and convenience of measurement and location operation.Two-dimensional screen coordinates are converted to single image coordinates,and the camera coordinates are calculated by monocular vision technology based on the constraints so as to measure the edges in three cases.The latitude and longitude values of the positions before and after are obtained to fix the forward direction of camera,then the latitude and longitude values of the target are calculated by camera coordinates to locate the target.Experimental results show that the method is effective in measuring and locating objects and suitable for application.
