The present invention relates to a method for preparing a sulfate compatible polycarboxylate superplasticizer, water reducer belongs to the field of concrete. The specific steps are as follows: First, 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid, vinyl aromatic compound and an unsaturated amide monomer A monomer B under effect of sodium lauryl sulfate and the initiator was prepared three terpolymer; then terpolymer, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene ether copolymer monomers C, from an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer and a silane coupling agent D E monomers initiator and chain transfer agent in the redox system the aqueous phase was carried out radical polymerization reaction to adjust the pH after completion of the reaction, i.e., to obtain a sulfate type compatible polycarboxylate superplasticizer. Sulfates compatible polycarboxylate superplasticizer prepared by the method of the present invention a cost-effective, simple reaction time, easy to control, adaptability, and cement etc., and polymerization in an aqueous solution, no "waste" discharge, are cleaner production .
