Two modes of measuring spurious scattering in nuclear emulsions

1961
Two methods for measuring spurious scattering in nuclear emulsions are given. One pertains to the case in which scattering measurements are performed on isolated tracks of known energy in an emulsion; the other, to relative measurements on pairs of tracks close together, in the case of high flux density of incident beam particles. Recommendations on actual measurements and on the scattering constant are presented. (L.N.N.)
