GPS FOR PRECISION APPROACHES: FLIGHT TEST RESULTS.

1993
This article presents flight test results for various differential Global Positioning System implementations for precision approaches. Included in the flight tests were a two-channel sequential receiver, a carrier phase aiding receiver, a narrow-correlator spacing receiver, and an on-the-fly kinematic carrier phase tracking receiver. The article contains background on Global Positioning System application to precision approaches, a description of each system tested, and a presentation of the flight test results. The interpretation of the results considers sensor, flight technical, and total system errors. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
