Megabruchidius tonkineus (PIC, 1904) (Chrysomelidae : Bruchinae), a new seed beetle to the Bulgarian fauna

Adults of the seed beetle Megabruchidius tonkineus (Pic, 1904) were reared from dry pods of Gledits triacanthos (Fabaceae) collected in 2006 in Plovdiv. This is the first record of the seed beetle in the faun of Bulgaria.
