D-3He-fueled fusion power plant based on the pulsatory field-reversed configuration

In this paper, some physical and engineering aspects of a D-{sup 3}He-fueled fusion power plant based on the pulsatory field-reversed configuration are considered. The results of preliminary technical and economical factors and optimization calculations are given. An increase in the aneutronics factor of such a reactor is shown to result in higher costs.
