Modeling of Finite Depth Wind Wave Dissipation

Abstract : The long-term goal is to obtain a source function for the spectral wind wave energy dissipation rate due to wave breaking, based on understanding of the physics of the dissipation processes both in deep and finite depth environments. The resulting form must be applicable for use in routine wave prediction models.
