Study on simplified and optimized cultivation techniques of transgenic insect-resistant hybrid cotton.

According to the conditions of cotton production and climate characteristics in the coastal area of Jiangsu province,and based on the summary of the high-yielding experience and experimental studies,this paper put forward the simplified and optimized cultivation technique route of transgenic insect-resistant hybrid cotton,which included "expanding the row spacing of cotton plants,reducing its planting density,applying enough quantity of fertilizer,conducting light chemical control,retaining leafy shoots,and delaying topping",and explicated the specific technical conditions and performance indexes for the high-yielding cultivation of transgenic insect-resistant hybrid cotton in this area.
