Research on hydrometallurgical purification of metallurgical grade silicon under ultrasonic field

This paper has researched the change of concentration of Al,Fe,Ca,Ti,Cu after metallurgical grade silicon(MG-Si) powder are purified by hydrochloric acid,nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid leaching respectively under ultrasonic field,which is compared with that of mechanical stirring.The experimental results show that the removal ratio of main impurities are increased by 16.2%,7.1%,6.8% respectively.Influence of acid leaching time on concentration of impurities under ultrasonic field is also researched.The principle of hydrometallurgical purification of metallurgical grade silicon under ultrasonic field is discussed.
