Abstract : This report deals with the feasibility of using the Space Shuttle to conduct global geomagnetics surveys in support of the global geomagnetic charts published by the Defense Mapping Agency every five years. The study revealed that it is technically feasible and practical to conduct global geomagnetic surveys from the Shuttle. Keywords; Charting; Mapping; Geodesy.
